At 8am you will be picked up from your hotel and allowed to enjoy the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way. Once arriving in Halong Bay, you will start a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and have seafood lunch (we serve you with Vietnamese traditional dishes, in case you are vegetarian, we have other food options for you) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, stop at fishing village for kayaking. After the visiting of Fighting-Cock island and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung cave) – which has opened to the public since 1998 with stalagmites and stalactites you will then see the local fishing villages on the way back to port and return to Hanoi around 8.30pm.
The Perfume Pagoda (Chùa Hương) is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. The Perfume Pagoda is one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. Every spring, after the Lunar New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year. Taking a rowing boat on the Yen stream, you will glide along scenic waterways and then walk up a steep mountain path to visit Huong Tich cave to look over the beautiful scenery all around. Walking down (cable car is optional) you then have a lunch specially prepared at the foot of the mountain. Visit the Heaven kitchen Pagoda before taking the rowing boat back down the river to your awaiting bus, arriving back in Hanoi around 6.30pm.
Your Hanoi day trip will start at 8am as you will be picked up by our guide and taken on a full days trip around the busy streets of Vietnams capital, Hanoi. First, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (check opening days) where Uncle Ho himself resides and then on to the museum next door where many historical aterfacts lie. You will then move on to Ho Chi Minhs stilt house and then to the one pillar pagoda lying on the other side. After lunch you will then move on to the Temple of Literature and Vietnams first University and its glorious gardens. Heading towards Hoan Kiem Lake where you will then see the red bridge and Ngoc Son Temple. After this you will then take in a performance of the Water Puppets before finishing your day advised on where best to eat in Hanoi's famous Old Quarter.
Hanoi day trips start at 8am as you will be collected by our English speaking guide from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter and transferred to Bai Dinh. Bai Dinh is a spiritual & cultural complex of Buddhist temples in the Ninh Binh district of North Vietnam. Taking a short break at Phu Ly City for 20 minutes before arriving at the Bai Dinh Pagoda around 10.20am. You will visit the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues and the bronze Buddha statue over 10 metres in height. After lunch in a local restaurant, with goat as the main course, you will then proceed to Trang An, where you will take a boat ride through the cave complex of Sang, Toi & Ba Giot cave etc. Around 4pm you will then take the return journey back to Hanoi and dropped off at your hotel around 6.30pm.
Hanoi Travel Agency will ensure your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to embark on your 2.5 hour trip to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. After visiting the two magnificent temples of the Le and Dinh dynastys, you will transfer to Trang An for your speciality meal of the day, goat meat. On finishing your lunch you will take a boat trip through the many caves in store in this cultural heaven. On your boat trip you will float through Sang Cave, toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou, Sinh and Si Caves etc. Once you have marvelled at the beauty here in Trang An you will then board your bus back to Hanoi arriving around 6-6.30pm.
At 8am in the morning you will be collected by our professional tour guide and taken on a trip 100km south of Hanoi, to the ancient capital Hoa Lu. Visiting two temples of the Dinh and Le Dynsaty before continuing on to Thung Nham where you will sample the local delicacy of goat meat for lunch. After lunch you will then take a boat through the 3 caves of Thung Nham, Chua, Ghe and But, being the longest at over 500m in length. On exiting all the beautiful caves with the various formations of stalagtites and stalagmites, you will return to Hanoi by bus and dropped off at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
At 8am you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Tam Coc. Hoa Lu is the ancient capital of Vietnam and is a splendid tourist destination and a must while in Hanoi. You will see and feel the history and culture surrounding you in this beautiful scenic part of Vietnam. The area is abound with natural limestone peaks whose splendour often surpasses that of Halong Bay. Regarded as the Halong Bay on land, you can see why this has to be visited. You will get to ride in the rowing boat through the 3 caves and snaking canal looking above to see the beauty that is Tam Coc National Park. Having lunch and an optional bicycle ride through the local minority villages before returning to Hanoi, arriving around 6.30pm.
