Day 2: Guided trek through rice fields/Overnight in Homestay (B,L,D)

Day 4: Guided trek through local villages/Bus/train to Hanoi (B,L)
In the evening you will begin your journey to your Sapa 3d2n trip. We will arrange your transport to Sapa with as follows;
Train: We will arrange transport to the train station for you at 9pm to collect your evening sleeper train at 10pm to Lao Cai, arriving around 6am.
Day 2: SAPA - LAO CHAI - TAVAN (B/L/D)
Bus: Our driver will pick you up from the bus station and transfer you to the hotel.
Train: Our driver will pick you up from Lao Cai train station and transfer you to our Hotel in Sapa Town.
On arriving at the Hotel you can take a shower and freshen up after your evenings transfer and then enjoy a buffet breakfast laid on by our hotel.
At around 9am - 9.30am you will be collected by our local English speaking guide and start the walk through Sapa Town along the small trails to Lao Chai village, enjoying a delicious lunch at a local house/restaurant near the Muong Hoa river, experiencing the local daily lives and culture of the people living here.
On crossing the suspension bridge you will walk through Lao Chai village to Tavan village inhabited by the Dzay people who have a strong Chinese culture about them. Your guide will then take you to the homestay, where you will be staying the night. Meeting the family and learning all about their traditional ways of living and working in the this minority village. The family will cook dinner using only locally grown fresh ingredients and throwing in maybe a glass or two of the fire water "rice wine", try if you dare! This family is known as the Dzay minority family, they are very friendly and most welcome to use their home as yours.

Day 3: TAVAN - GIANG TA CHAI - SU PAN - BAN HO (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will enjoy a 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and the rattan bridge. Enjoy the landscape through a bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the transport to return to Sapa. Tour finish in Sapa by 3PM.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Stopping for a picnic lunch you will head towards Ban Ho, a beautiful village nestled in the valley and home to the Tay minority people, living in traditional stilt houses. You will enjoy an excellent dinner specially cooked by the family while you relax your weary legs from the days hike. Try a shot of rice wine or chill with a cold beer.

Day 4: BAN HO - NAM TOONG - SAPA - HANOI (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will take a short 2km walk to the waterfall discovered by the French and nicknamed La Vie! If the weather permits, enjoy a dip in the waterfall for a spot of swimming and then head up the mountain to visit a small hamlet of the Red Dzao minority people. After a quick lunch, you will then head back to Ban Ho and await your transport back to Sapa. Arriving in Sapa Town around 3pm.
At 3.30pm, our driver will collect you in the Eco Luxury bus to take you back to Hanoi. This is a 9 seater luxury bus with very comfortable leather seats, with USB port and wifi on-board. (for a guaranteed reclining seat - $3 p/p extra)
You will make a couple of stops on the way to Hanoi, the second one where you can opt to have a hot meal at the restaurant. Arriving in Hanoi around 10pm, so you can check in to the hotel.
