Description
Perfume Pagoda
Today, after you have had breakfast at your hotel, our professional English speaking tour guide will collect you from reception (Old Quarter only) and head towards the Perfume Pagoda. This is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built in to limestone mountains giving a sublime look and feeling that is unprecedented.
Being one of the most religious & important sites in Buddhism Vietnam, every spring, after the Lunar New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray to the health and prosperity of their family.
After boarding your rowing boats on the Yen Stream, you will be guided along by your rower along the scenic waterways to the entrance to the mountainside and to start a steep walk up the mountain. This leads to the top where Huong Tich cave is located, giving you a panoramic view around the splendid scenery all around you.
After taking many selfies & photos at the peak, you will then either walk down or take the cable car to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch prepared at the foot of the mountain. After visiting the kitchen Pagoda and taking the rowing boat back, your bus driver will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi, arriving around 6.30pm.
